Let it ice? No, thank you.

So, I don't know if you heard or not but it iced last week. That's right, not beautiful snow flakes swirling around Conway, blanketing its residents in a beautiful winter wonderland. It was ice that came down like tiny daggers, daring anyone to even step on the grass. But I had to do it. I had to step on the grass. So much that I had to seek out the ways local kids were dealing with the pity of no school (yeah, right). And the place we found them was a pretty dangerous one, zooming down on a hill near the country club. Yipes! However, I'm proud to say I did not slip and go plummeting down this enormous hill alongside them. I actually didn't fall at all and was very proud. The ice came Monday and stayed until Wednesday, which is probably a world record for Conway as it did not rise above freezing for two days. Anyway I tried to not be outside as much as possible during this fiasco called ice day, but I managed to snap a couple pictures while on assignment. Sure it may look beautiful, but that's only to disguise the impending doom. And, no I don't know the woman nor do I know the dog.
Oh yeah, and Nathan did not attempt to walk, make ice balls, make an ice man, make an ice angel or even go outside in this weather. So sorry for the late of cuteness in these photos. Check back soon for super cuteness, though. :)

No surprise there that the kids were zooming down the hill.
