Decking the Halls

The second we got home today, it was down with fall and up with Christmas! :) As much as we enjoy looking at our holiday decor, putting it up can be a tiring process. However, I'm happy to report that it's all finished, other than the outside lights. It is officially Christmastime at the Bauer household and Nathan is loving it. Jonathan even took a special trip to buy him his own big boy bedroom tree. If that doesn't put visions of sugar plums in his head, I don't know what will! As I was busy helping Nathan spread the ornaments to more than just one branch, I snapped a few quick shots to share. For those who finished their holiday decorating this weekend, sit back, relax and enjoy the view. :) For those who didn't - get cracking!

Oh yeah - and while I was busy stuffing my face with fried turkey and expertly hand-crafted green bean casserole, I neglected to take pictures. However, at one point Nathan colored a hand turkey so amazing, I just had to put down the fork and pick up the camera. Check him out working on both his turkey and a pretty impressive portrait of Daddy:

Happy Sunday! :)
