Tractor Time

Okay, enough with the mushy four-year-old posts. Let's get to the cake! :) Nathan's fourth birthday party was held Saturday and our little guests sure had fun at his tractor-themed shindig. We had the place strung up in John Deere green and yellow, at the birthday boy's request, and he loved every second. After a pre-party nap, he wandered wide-eyed into the kitchen and exclaimed, "This is the BEST birthday party I've EVER DESERVED!" Yes, Nathan, you're right. From busting open the tractor pinata to cooling down on the slip-n-slide to stuffing our faces full of delicious tractor cake, I'd say it was pretty fantastic and much deserved. Thank you so much to everyone who came and partied with us, especially those grandparents, who were a tremendous help in both the set up and clean up of the par-tay. While Nathan and I go play with every new toy at least twice before bedtime, please enjoy a few snapshots from the big day:

I hope everyone had a great weekend and enjoyed as much downhome country fun as we did here at the Bauer homestead. I still can't believe I have a four-year-old (AND a four-month-old). But I'm thinking it only gets better from here. Happy Sunday!
